Richard Alan Bunch was born in Honolulu and grew up in the Napa Valley. His works include Summer Hawk, Rivers of the Sea, Running for Daybreak, and a play The Russian River Returns. Thrice nominated for a Pushcart Prize, his poetry has appeared in Windsor Review, Pinyon, Haight Ashbury Literary Journal, Oregon Review, Fugue, Poetry Southeast, and Cape Rock. His latest work is Hawking Moves: Plays, Poems and Stories.
